Beaverhead
golf course is just on the outskirts of Dillon, in Southwest Montana
which is the heart of Blue Ribbon Trout fishing on the Beaverhead River
and nearby the Big Hole Rivers. The Jefferson and Ruby Rivers are
also nearby. Elk, deer, upland game and duck/goose hunting are
local pastimes in the off-golf season.
The Beaverhead
Golf Course was built in 1963 by local farmers and businessmen. The 110
acres of bent grass fairways, bent grass and poa
greens are spread out through nine holes with a small creek running
through two fairways and some sort of bunker on every hole.
Poplar, pine and willows have grown to line the fairways and the greens.
The Course rating is 69.7
for the Men and 71.2 for the Women with a Men's slope of 128 and Women's
slope of 128. The men's yardage s 6446 for 18 holes with the
women's yardage at 5,582 yards. Enjoy the driving range with grass
hitting areas and the spacious putting green.
You
will find the course in great shape all summer and one of the most
friendly courses in the Northwest. This clubhouse serves
beer, wine, other cool beverages and snacks while the roomy
dining/seating area is host to many local gatherings.

Mike Crosser, the pro,
can be found giving lessons on the driving range, helping construct the
newest golf cart storage facility or organizing for the upcoming events
held at the spacious club house for a leagues, tournaments or for
scheduled, reserved parties.
